What do each of those herbs do?

Every individual ingredient in Heartdrops has been acknowledged by the European Medicines Agency as traditional herbal medicinal products with an established history of use.  

Garlic has been used in Herbal Medicine to help reduce elevated blood lipid levels (hyperlipidemia) and help maintain cardiovascular health in adults. Additionally, Hawthorn Leaf, Flower and Fruit are used in Herbal Medicine to help support cardiovascular health in adults.

What makes up our Strauss Heartdrops formula?

Strauss formulas have a rich history originating from the Strauss family traditional herbal formulas dating back generations. We use a proprietary technique to develop Aged Garlic Extract  (AGE)  and combine it precisely with herbs including Hawthorn Fruit, Flower and Leaf Extracts, European Mistletoe Leaf Extract, Motherwort Herb Top Extract, Cayenne Fruit Extract, Bilberry Leaf Extract and White Willow Bark Extract.

What are the known side effects?

Hypersensitivity/allergic reactions are known to occur. Headaches, dizziness, lightheadedness and thirst may occur in which case reduce the dosage or discontinue use.

Can I take it with my prescription medicines?

Can anyone take it?

Heartdrops can be taken by adults of all genders. Do not take it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take within 24 hours of surgery. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anemia, bleeding/clotting disorders, stomach ulcer, or diabetes.

How do I take Heartdrops?

Shake well. Take 1ml to 2.5 ml three times daily.

For a delicate taste palate, dilute in a little liquid, water or juice  or start with the minimum dose and work up to the higher dose. Take with or without food. On an empty stomach is recommended.

Is it true it has a strong flavour?

Garlic has always been a herb with a robust flavour. For this reason, we now offer two flavours – Cinnamon and Original.

How will I know it’s working to reduce my elevated blood lipids

Please consult your healthcare practitioner to arrange a test to examine your blood lipid levels.

How long and how often do I take them?

We suggest you take Strauss Heartdrops for a minimum of 3 months and ideally one year. After that time, you may choose to continue on a maintenance schedule. Please consult with a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.

As Strauss Heartdrops® are a natural health product, we don't conduct nutritional content testing. However, there are approximately 6 calories per 2.5 ml serving size due mainly to the ethyl alcohol present.

Prostrate

My Prostate Drops™ have solidified on the bottom, what do I do?

Strauss Naturals Prostate Drops™ contain high quantities of Saw Palmetto Fruit, which provides effective relief of symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.

Saw Palmetto Fruit contains high levels of beneficial fatty acids, which over time can solidify in the bottom of the bottle.

Normally, shaking before use will effectively mix the Prostate DropsTM; however, if the solids will not mix with shaking, we recommend immersing the bottom of the bottle in hot tap water for approximately 10 minutes and then shake to help remix the fatty acids.

Can I take it with the Heartdrops®?

Can I take with my prescriptions or other supplements?

If you are taking anti-coagulants, products containing acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other salicylates, or other medications/supplements, please consult with a healthcare practitioner before use. Do not take this product if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid (ASA). Please allow at least 1 hour between taking this product and other herbal or medicinal products.

Can I take it with food or mix it with water?

This product should be taken with food to minimize gastric disturbance. Do not take it with acidic foods (e.g. citrus fruits or juices) or medications, which may acidify urine. We recommend taking it undiluted, preferably sublingually. If you have a delicate taste palate, you can dilute in some water, or try taking the minimum dose to start. We recommend drinking plenty of water during the day starting 1 hour afterwards, while you are using the product.

Is it normal to see solids in the liquid herbal formula?

Strauss Naturals Bladder Drops™ contain high quantities of a range of herbal extracts, which allow it to work effectively in Herbal Medicine as a diuretic.

 

This high quantity of herbal extracts means that some solids may be present on the top of the liquid or in solution even after mixing. Shaking well before use will effectively mix the Bladder Drops™ and will ensure a consistent dosage of all ingredients. Where do you Ship?

We ship within North America (Canada and USA)

  • All orders are shipped via standard ground freight with tracking number.

  • Canadian orders are shipped from Kamloops, BC.

  • USA orders are shipped from our fulfillment center in Independence, Missouri and/or Long Beach, California.

How long does it take to process an order?

  • Orders are processed and shipped Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm PST and exclude weekends and holidays. After receiving your order you will receive a confirmation email/phone call.

  • You will receive another notification with tracking information when your order has been shipped.

  • Orders received are processed and shipped within 48 hours.

What are Shipping Costs?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
